Our little party planner (Loryn) has been reading several books on skin care. She's really into taking care of her body and skin (except for all the chocolate she eats)! She organized a little "Spa" party for some girls she wanted to become better friends with at school.
They did pedicures, manicures, and facials.
She made these signs to put around the room at the different stations.
She borrowed a lounge lawn chair from some friends and really worked hard setting up the whole rec room. She also planned what food to serve and gave me a shopping list. She was a little disappointed that only 3 out of the 6 friends made it, but I think it upset me more than her. She has had bad luck with planning extravagent parties and putting a bunch of work into them and then has people cancel out at the last minute. The important thing is she had fun and did a great job organizing it all!
