Our little girl is growing up! Although it's sad to see the girls grow up so fast, it's awesome to see what beautiful young ladies they are becoming. Kailey invited Galen Card to attend Varsity Ball this last Saturday night. It is a formal "girl ask guy" dance at the high school. This was her first formal date and she had a great time! She was a little nervous when we took pictures, so she doesn't really like them.
She went with a group of about 18 kids, mostly LDS. Four of the girls met at Lynsey White's house to do their hair and makeup. It was kind of sad for Craig and I because we always thought we'd get to help her get ready for her first big dance. So we snuck over to Lynsey's just before the boys arrived, so we could get a sneak peek. We both about started crying, but we were able to stay in check so we wouldn't embarass her. She IS BEAUTIFUL and the dressed-up look really emphasized her beauty!
All of the kids met at Lynsey's house for dinner. It's so terrific how they have such a big group of good kids to hang out with. They really have a good time together.
Cheryl and Greg White were wonderful hosts and dinner was incredible! Even Lynsey's little brother and sisters helped. They were dressed in a tux and nice clothes to "serve" dinner.
We are so proud of Kailey and the choices she is making. She is close to her Heavenly Father and strives to live in a way that will make him happy. She is such a great example to her little sis!

Oh, my goodness! It makes you take a close look at everything you did RIGHT that helped her turn into such a great girl. You deserve credit. :)
