On August 1, 2009, the Arvel & Ila Child family reunion took place in Moses Lake, WA, at the Aquatic Center. My cousin Sara had reserved a picnic shelter and sectioned off an area for us to sit. Most of the time we spent in the water, but it was enjoyable to see our cousins and my dad with his siblings.

My dad was the only cool one! He wore his swimsuit and went down the waterslide! He knows how to have fun! (Although his body was telling him it wasn't so much fun the next day!) Sorry dad, but coolness comes with a price!
