* I'm thankful that when I fell down a few stairs on Friday, I was still able to walk! I haven't been able to sit for very long or very comfortably for a few days, but my injuries could have been so much worse!
* I'm thankful that when my battery died in my car it happened about a block from Les Schwab! I'm also grateful for the kind couple (I think their last name was Finnigan) who helped me try to jump the COMPLETELY DEAD battery and who were so kind and worried about me. They were so sweet. I'm wishing I would have brought up the gospel with them! I'm also grateful that it wasn't very cold outside (especially that it wasn't winter--it could have happened in December) while I waited for Craig to come pick me up.
* I'm thankful that when I locked my keys in the truck the VERY NEXT DAY, that Craig only said "what now?" with a smile in his voice when I called. I'm thankful he was in town and could come and rescue me again. He could have been out of town photographing a dance.
* I'm thankful for a husband who has been so patient and kind. He's been very empathetic and tried to help around the house so I can recover from my traumatic week.
* I'm thankful for a daughter who has a sense of humor. Loryn was with me when I fell and when I locked the keys in the truck. Right after we realized I had locked the keys in the truck, she said "Mom, I think you must have forgotten to forward one of those emails that says if you don't forward it within 72 hours, you'll have a week of bad luck!" She makes me laugh!
* I'm thankful for two very kind young men who helped my mom with moving, refused to accept money from her for helping, and then asked her to help them get a date with Kailey. Kailey and her friend Lindsey went on a blind date (double date) with them last Saturday and had so much fun. She went on and on about how kind and considerate they were to her and her friend. "They even opened our car doors for us!!!" This is a picture of the goofy kids on their date.

I felt so helpless reading your blog. I had no idea of your frustrating week. Hopefully all of that came at once and now you get a break - ooppss I don't mean break as in break your arm falling down the stairs!!! I hope you are feeling MUCH better.
I loved your humor and I will be laughing all day about Loryn's comment about not forwarding and email. LOL!
