We received some sad news on January 2nd. Craig's sister-in-law, Deanna Young (Bruce's wife) had a massive heart attack and passed away (she was 42). Deanna and Bruce have been married 11 years and she's been such a good part of his life. It was a shock to all of us. Luckily, some of us had been able to visit with her at Thanksgiving at Andre's home in Hood River. Here's a picture of all of us. Deanna and Bruce are the ones seated on the couch.
Below is the first picture in many years that we've been able to take of all of Craig's siblings. We haven't all been together for quite a long time, and Deanna's funeral provided that time for them. We all agreed to make a better effort to see one another during happy times, instead of sad ones. Top row: Craig, Andre, Bruce; Bottom row: Debra, Emily, Enoch.
The picture below includes Arnie (Craig's step-dad) and his wife Syd. Arnie is the father of Debra, Enoch & Emily. Tamara, was the mother of all 6 kids. She passed away in 1978 from breast cancer.
This picture includes Andre, Bruce, Craig, and their father's brother (Fred) and sister (Annette). Their father was Larry Andre Franklin.
And this is a picture of the beautiful women on Craig's side of the family!

Sorry to hear about your sister-in-law. It is always so sad to lose someone that you love. But it is so good to see family and remember how important they are to you.
So sorry to hear of your sad news.
I don't think I have ever seen pictures of Craig's family before. They are a nice looking bunch. :)
