Flood problem!

Last Spring 2009, when the irrigation water turned on, we weren't home at the time. Apparently, we forgot to turn the garden spicket off at the end of the summer in 2008. It had a timer on it at the time, so we didn't think about turning off the faucet. Well...while we were gone that day, it must have ran most of the day and flooded our crawl space. What fun we had pumping it out and using snow shovels to move the water to the pumping area, all while bent over (because it's only about 4 and 1/2 feet high)!! Jesse and Clark were so kind and came over to help us. And Greg Seaman was kind enough to let us use some of his fans to try and dry the area out for a few days. We learned a good lesson! At least none of our food storage was ruined because Craig had thought to put it up on crates the year before!
